Okay, so I went a super long time without inspiration. And then I bought some more markers, watercolors and watercolor pencils. I am having a hayday over here with these things.

I'm not remarkably talented with watercolors, but I do love coloring in general. It's just a new style for me. A lot of what I'm doing now, is trying to learn how to control the water color better.

Shading has never been my better side, so that's part of the watercolor experience I am going to have to learn.

Any suggestions, comments or critiques are appreciated. I have ideas...I just have to take my time this time around.

Yes, they were all taken with my camera phone, hence the not so clear images. But I love them. My son loves that fountain. We hadn't planned on getting wet, but he ran into it and wouldn't come back out.

Needless to say, by the time he got to the car - drenched!!!

So, do we all recall the lack of inspiration? Well, I have a few new things to post.

1 - just as soon as I figure out why my scanner software/twain driver keeps halting with some ridiculous error on both of my machines.

Really, no motivation. I've lost motivation for anything.

I promised I would draw a girl I am watching. I am still too indecisive about which reference image to use.

Oh, and I'm right smack dab in the middle of writing a journal on my website. (yeah I know it's been a long while since I've written there.) Should be up in 20 or 30 mintues.

Artwise - I started something while in Arizona. I'll be done in a few days. Just need to pick up some red pens/markers/water color pencils to finish it.

And Wednesday??? I'm SUPER Excited for it to get here. My son Sebastian will offcially be 3 years old on Wednesday. Can't wait.
